How Do You Exactly Begin Teaching the Sign Language to Tykes?

However, you are free to make your own, especially if you want to add more personalization to your sign language teaching.

3. Quiz your kids. How can you tell if they have learned the right things from you? One way to know is to conduct a short quiz. Perhaps you can say a word and allow them to make a sign, or you can do it vice versa. The most important thing is you can gauge the learning of your children. Perhaps there are areas that are still unclear to them, and you may have to repeat these to them.

4. Make sign language a part of your habit. Make sure that you can let your child know that signing is part of your daily habit. Whenever you can, include signing while you’re talking.

The process of teaching the sign language requires patience and determine at your end. Nevertheless, along the way, you will be reaping its greatest reward: more effective communication between you and the children.
